NEW BIKE LAUNCHED BY HERO HONDA 

Hero Honda has launched an all new look 150CC motorcycle CBZ.  The bike named as CBZ X-treme will be having disc brakes and alloy wheels as standard fitments. The new bike will be available in two variants. The base variant of the new offering has been priced at Rs.54500 and the self starter will be priced at Rs.56500. Teams from
Japan’s Honda and Hero Honda have jointly developed the new model.

 

CLUB MAHINDRA LAUNCHES NEW
HOLIDAY PACKAGE
 

Chennai-based Club Mahindra holidays has launched a new holiday product ‘club Mahindra Fundays’ targeting the corporate sector. It is a ten-year membership plan and has been specially designed to be anti-inflationary and flexible.

                                                Companies that join as members can access 15 resorts of club Mahindra in destinations such as Goa, Manali, Coorg,
Bangkok and about 3700 resorts worldwide. The main features include single window access to fulfill all travel needs of an employee and flexibility of seasons and size of apartments. The company is targeting senior company officials for this package.

 

CONSUMER ELECTRONIC CHAIN LAUNCHED BY TATA SONS 

Infiniti Retail, a 100% subsidiary of Tata Sons on Monday launched Croma, its first national chain of multi-brand outlets for consumer electronic and durable products. The stores chain will be operated by Infiniti while the technical support and strategic sourcing facilities will be provided by Australian retail giant, Woolworths. The first Croma store in Juhu, Mumbai was launched by Ratan Tata, chairman of Tata Sons. Croma will be dealing in categories like home entertainment, small appliances, white goods, computers and peripherals.

UNION LAUNCHES DUDHSAGAR MILK POWDER
 

Mehsana district milk producer’s union, a member of GCMMF launched a new skimmed milk powder by the name of Dudhsagar recently. The Mehsana union has started supplying the milk powder directly to customers in parts of
India including some of the old customers of GCMMF

 

MICROSOFT TO LAUNCH NEW OFFICE SOFTWARE BY THIS YEAR-END 

Global IT giant Microsoft announced on Monday that it would be formally launching its latest office software called the 2007 Office system by this year-end. The preliminary version of this software called the BETA 2 which contains an improved combination of word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and other programmes was launched in May this year.

                Out of the 250 applications developed for the software, 25 have been in partnership with Indian tech firms such as TCS, Wipro and Sonata. The applications developed by TCS helps in financial reporting while Wipro’s contributions automate claims managements for firms in businesses like insurance.
